In association with Chatham House & Clarendon, Charles Dickens, St Georges and King Ethelberts we hope to run half or full day workshops during the summer holidays in the Thanet area.
The main aim of the workshops are to provide students the opportunity to meet like minded learners of their own age and have fun playing in ensemble. We hope this will encourage them to continue learning their instrument beyond year 6. We hope that this will also support students and parent/carers with finding required information about new teachers, courses and instruments available for use.
If there is enough interest we hope to run a course at least once a week for most weeks of the summer thus allowing students the opportunity to take part in at least one session within the holiday period.
If interest is high we may continue this idea weekly throughout the year.
Your child must have their own instrument and have been learning for approximately a year at least.
Cost of each session will be kept to a minimum and will depend on numbers involved and overhead costs. We hope to keep this as low as possible as this is not a profit making scheme.
More information on venues, dates and content of courses will be added as well as a flyer being sent to their current school . If you are interested then please complete the form below including in the notes section students:
